As Regional Director of Revenue Generation, Christin Smith oversees revenue generation efforts for various Maverick Chicago hotels in support of company-wide business objectives. Key responsibilities include establishing and implementing hotel rate and sales strategies to support overall financial success, while maintaining vigilance to assure hotels are competitively placed in the Market for optimal results.
While pursuing a college degree in psychology, Christin fell into hospitality working at a local hotel as a front office employee. After graduating, while waiting to start her psychology career, she moved into the Sales office where she quickly became Director of Sales. Being the driven go-getter that she is, not long after, she transitioned from Sales to Revenue Management. It was in this role where she really excelled, and a job became her passion as she grew to manage a portfolio of 14 hotels. Christin thrives in the fast-paced environment of the Hotel industry, and with her analytical mindset and desire to share her expertise with others, she remains an integral part of Maverick’s success.
